Keeping Our Children Safe!

Many people overlook Watchful Sheperd USA.  I spoke to Traci and Jennifer from Watchful Sheperd about who and why it was started 30 years ago.  It's a national non-profit family abuse prevention program.  We discuss what they use to help children contact authorities and agencies if abuse or neglect happens in their home.  I have learned so much about how we can help as a community to raise money so these families can feel safe without going bankrupt.  On October 28th Watchful Sheperd is having a fundraiser called Dancing for A Cause!

Do you remember beepers or call waiting on an actual telephone?  Well, tune in to listen to my daughter Lexi & I discuss the differences of dating in the 1990's compared to Now!  The technology is so advanced and you can find anyone on Social Media before you ever go on a date with them.   However, we discuss the dangers in meeting someone you never saw in person!   Lexi feels we were in more trouble with our dating situations since they picked up us at our home?   But let's face it you can find out someones location if they are using their correct name.

Kim shares her heartfelt story of facing difficult decisions with her pregnancy! Her odds and the diagnosis were very traumatic of the unknown outcome.   Parents who lost a child will understand what Kim and her family went through.  Christian will always be apart of their family!  Kim believed in her church and the power of prayer.   Their family was faced with a lot of ups and downs but the signs we all there to guide them!  Everyone has a different story however, the feelings we face are very similar!
